Saloni Heart Foundation Launches Advancements in Children's Heart Healthcare

Saloni Heart Foundation, USA is saving children’s lives and transforming their futures. In February 2024 we began training and surgeries in the Saloni Heart Center (SHC), Excellence in Children's Heart Care. This showcases our strong commitment and step forward to eradicating pediatric congenital heart disease in India.

Highlights

Saloni Foundation launches Saloni Heart Center (SHC) in collaboration with Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science in Lucknow, India.

95% of children in India are untreated or receive delayed treatments.

SHC starts with 30 pre- and post-surgery beds, 6 ICU beds, and 1 operating theater within SGPGIMS.

Long-term plan: build a 200-bed super specialty center for excellence.

SHC aims to perform 5,000 surgeries and provide medical management for 10,000 children annually. It also plans to train 1,500 new medical professionals.

SHC will be the world's largest pediatric cardiac health center.
